Our Department of Artificial Intelligence has been established as a part of the project for Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence by the Ministry of Science and ICT, and the first semester started in September 2019.
With the clear purpose of entering in Top 20 worldwide in the field of Artificial Intelligence, our department will do our best to nurture academic talents who will lead the development of innovative AI technology, industrial talents who will lead the growth of the global industry, and technology startup talents who will challenge the commercialization of new AI technology.
The AI department will conduct AI-specific education and research focused on core research areas (Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Speech Recognition, Big Data, Neural Network, etc) and AI + X-specific fields (Healthcare, Finance, Intelligent agent, Game, Autonomous driving, National defense, etc.).
In addition, we will foster AI talents with global competitiveness and practical capabilities by utilizing a rich research cooperation network with world-renowned AI universities and research institutes, leading domestic and foreign AI companies.
We are looking forward to meeting students with great potential who are going to study together here as graduate students for the degree of Master and Ph.D.
